Freelance: Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Technician

For an innovative client in Munich, I am currently looking for an experienced Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Technician to support the setup and operation of HiL test environments for demanding development and testing projects.

Key Data:

• Start: asap
• Duration: 3 months (option to extend by up to 1 month)
• Utilization: 100%
• Location: Munich
• Contract Type: Freelance

Responsibilities

• Setup and wiring of HiL test benches, racks, and electrical harness systems
• Integration and commissioning of HiL environments with test and measurement technology
• Troubleshooting and resolution of wiring, signal, and EMI/EMC problems
• Maintenance, adaptation, and documentation of the electrical test infrastructure
• Collaboration with hardware, system, and software teams on tests and analyses

• Technical training or degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable
• At least 3 years of practical experience in the electrical setup and wiring of technical systems
• Experience with HiL test benches, test racks, or comparable test environments
• Proficient in reading circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings
• Experience in cable and harness manufacturing (crimping, soldering, connectors)
• Confident use of electrical measuring and testing equipment
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC, grounding, and shielding
• Experience in aerospace, avionics, or safety-critical environments is an advantage
• Good English skills as well as independent and precise way of working
