Seeking a freelance Linux/Kubernetes/DevOps Engineer with at least 5 years of experience for a full-time, 6-month project in medical device software development. The role involves cluster administration, container technology development, Linux system engineering, storage solutions, monitoring, and CI/CD automation.
Responsibilities
- Administration and troubleshooting of Kubernetes/K3s clusters in edge computing environments
- Development and optimization of container technologies (containerd, Docker, cgroups)
- Linux system engineering and performance analysis for edge platforms
- Implementation and maintenance of storage solutions (LVM, CSI-based systems)
- Setup and operation of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
- CI/CD automation and release engineering for medical device software
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Linux-based platform development or DevOps
- Profound Kubernetes/K3s administration and troubleshooting skills
- Expertise in container technologies and Linux system engineering
- Experience with storage technologies (LVM, CSI solutions) and messaging (MQTT, NATS)
- Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault/OpenBao and security scanning desirable
- High sense of responsibility, self-organization, and strong problem-solving skills
