Project overview

My client from the automation technology sector is currently looking for support for a project in Amstetten, Austria.

The focus is on the automation of a fully interconnected handling system for loading and unloading machining centers. The system comprises a total of 19 interconnected robots as well as a finishing area for measuring and cleaning the workpieces. Additionally, an automated vertical storage system with various inserts and a storage lift system is integrated.

Experienced experts in PLC programming with Siemens TIA Portal and/or FANUC robot programming are sought. Candidates who cover both areas and can support both PLC control and robot programming and integration are particularly interesting.

Position: PLC Programmer / FANUC Robot Programmer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

PLC programming and adaptation of controllers with Siemens TIA Portal

Programming and adaptation of FANUC industrial robots

Integration and coordination of PLC controls and robot systems

Support in the automation of a fully interconnected handling system with 19 robots

Control engineering implementation of loading and unloading of machining centers

Integration of the finishing area for measuring and cleaning workpieces

Connection and coordination of the automated vertical storage system and storage lift technology

Troubleshooting, optimization, and execution of function tests

Support during commissioning and technical coordination on-site

Requirements

Good knowledge of PLC programming with Siemens TIA Portal and/or FANUC robot programming

Experience in the automation of special machines or complex systems

Knowledge in commissioning and troubleshooting

Ideally, experience in communication and integration between PLC and robots

Independent and structured way of working

Willingness to work on-site in Amstetten, Austria

Important: Both PLC programmers with TIA Portal knowledge and FANUC robot programmers are sought. Candidates who bring both competencies are particularly interesting.
