Project overview

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Primavera Consultant (m/f/d) on short notice. The focus is on the technical configuration of Primavera as well as the development and implementation of an automated interface between Primavera and a staffing database. In particular, profound practical experience with Primavera, project and resource planning, and the technical integration of different systems is sought.

Position: Primavera Consultant (m/f/d) Interface Integration & Resource Planning

Responsibilities

• Conception, development, testing, and implementation of an automated interface between Primavera and StaffingDB
• Automation of the transfer of resource requirements and planning information, as well as creation of corresponding staffing requests
• Setup, configuration, and further development of project and resource structures in Primavera
• Planning and management of resource types, resource requirements, and resource allocations
• Analysis and implementation of suitable options for data exchange and data export, for example via Spreadsheet, XML, or XER
• Structured migration of project and planning data as well as support with tool setup
• Operational support in Project Control Management (PCM), especially with scheduling, workload planning, and financial steering
• Setup and optimization of reporting processes as well as support with project status reports and Weekly PSB
• Analysis and quality assurance of existing project structures as well as development of suitable templates and best practices

• Profound practical experience with Primavera, especially in application, configuration, and customization
• Very good knowledge in project and resource planning, including resource allocation
• Experience with system integrations and interfaces, especially in data exchange between different systems
• Technical understanding for the conception and implementation of automated interfaces
• Knowledge in data export and data exchange, for example via XML, XER, or Spreadsheet
• Experience in setting up and further developing project and resource structures
• Knowledge in Project Control Management, especially scheduling, workload planning, and financial steering
• Ideally, experience with StaffingDB and AWS
