Project overview
Our eCommerce client located in NYC is looking for a Production Artist, Packaging Freelance contract, about 40 hrs/week, starting by Oct 26 for an initial 12 weeks with the possibility of extending and going fulltime. Hybrid in NYC. Tuesdays & Thursdays in-office and remote the other days.
*MUST HAVE YOUR OWN LAPTOP* Responsibilities Build print-ready packaging files in Illustrator from existing dielines and templates for a consumer kitchen appliance brand Apply approved copy, colorways, and artwork across SKU variations accurately and fast Prep files to spec for factory handoff and correct files from proof feedback Works day to day with our packaging lead Must have: Advanced Illustrator, dieline and print production experience, clean file setup and naming.
Nice to have
retail packaging for Amazon, Target, Walmart, or Costco. In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Benefits
