For a demanding major technical construction project in the greater Linz area, we are looking for an experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer – Electrical Engineering & Instrumentation (m/f/d) starting November 2026. In this role, you will be responsible for both procedural quality assurance (QA) and site-based quality control (QC) for all power and low-voltage as well as instrumentation and control installations.

Responsibilities

• Processes & Approvals (QA): Creation, review, and monitoring of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), technical submittals, wiring diagrams, route layouts, and execution documents for electrical engineering/instrumentation and control.
• Site Control & Supervision (QC): Physical monitoring and inspection of executed electrical and instrumentation and control installation work (cable routing, distribution boards, measuring and control technology, grounding/lightning protection) directly on site.
• Monitoring of electrical trades regarding compliance with execution plans, standards, and manufacturer specifications.
• Conducting quality audits and accompanying site inspections, tests, and preparations for technical acceptance.
• Recording, documenting, and tracking electrical deviations (Non-Conformities / NCRs) and monitoring corrective actions.
• Active support of testing, pre-commissioning, and acceptance of electrical systems.

• Several years of experience in quality assurance, quality control (QA/QC), site management, or commissioning in the field of electrical engineering / ELT / instrumentation and control.
• Strong technical foundation in electrical building equipment on major construction sites.
• Demonstrable practical experience with ITPs, Technical Submittals, defect management (NCRs), and electrical testing.
• Hands-on mentality with high presence on the construction site.
• Experience with BIM / LOD 400 and with complex major projects (e.g., data centers, industrial plants) is an advantage.
• Fluent English skills.
