Your Profile as Freelance Senior SAP HCM Functional Analyst

The client is a major player in Belgium, currently in the midst of a significant HR transformation. Within a complex SAP HR environment, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is being implemented as the central system for employee and organizational data. SAP ECC HCM will continue to exist as a receiving system for processes including Payroll, Time Management, and others.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyzing existing SAP ECC HCM processes, configurations, and data structures within Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM).
• Translating business requirements into clear functional specifications and solutions.
• Performing FIT/GAP analyses between SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Defining future HR processes where Employee Central acts as the master data system.
• Supporting the functional setup of data replication from Employee Central to SAP ECC HCM.
• Developing and validating data mapping, transformation, and business rules.
• Analyzing the impact on existing HR processes, infotypes, organizational structures, interfaces, and reporting.
• Collaborating with technical consultants on SAP HCM Business Integration Builder (BIB) and associated integrations.
• Preparing and executing functional test scenarios, integration tests, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Providing support during cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Acting as a point of contact between HR stakeholders, SuccessFactors consultants, and technical SAP teams.

• Extensive functional experience with SAP ECC HCM, primarily Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM).
• Good knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, including HR master data and organizational structures.
• Demonstrable experience with at least one SAP HCM to SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation or integration where SAP HCM serves as the receiving system.
• Knowledge of data mapping, data replication, and integrations between SAP HCM and SuccessFactors.
• Experience with FIT/GAP analyses, process optimization, and functional documentation.
• Technical affinity for collaborating with ABAP developers and integration specialists.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to bring different stakeholders together.
• Strong plus: Knowledge of SAP HCM Business Integration Builder (BIB)
• Engagement: Fulltime
• Location: Brussels
• Remote Work: Hybrid, 3 days a week in the office
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension
• Languages: English required, Dutch and/or French is a plus
