Experienced Senior Tester with expertise in Private Banking needed for a transformation project in Frankfurt. The role involves designing, executing, and documenting software tests.
Project overview
Hello dear freelancer,
For a client in the banking sector, I am currently looking for several experienced Senior Testers (external) with technical expertise in Private Banking (m/f/d) to support an ongoing transformation project. Three experienced testers are sought for the conception, execution, and documentation of software tests in a demanding Private Banking environment.
Key Data:
- Start: 01.12.2026 (04.01.2027 at the latest)
- Duration: until 31.05.2027 with an option to extend
- Utilization: 100% / approx. 120 PT
- Location: Frankfurt am Main, predominantly 3-4 days per week on-site
- Contract Type: Freelance (employment in a GmbH advantageous)
- Industry: Private Banking / Financial Services
Responsibilities
- Creation and design of test cases to ensure complete requirements coverage
- Execution of feature, end-to-end, and User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
- Preparation and creation of test data
- Manual execution of test cases
- Documentation of test results in Jira / Xray
- Recording, tracking, and retesting of defects throughout the entire bug fixing process
- Creation and maintenance of tickets
- Support of test management and project management with further test activities as needed

- Several years of practical experience in software testing (at least 3 years)
- Very good understanding of the end-to-end test process in agile and classic project environments
- Experience in testing frontend or business applications
- Sound expertise in the investment or Private Banking environment (Must-have)
- Very good knowledge of Jira and preferably XRay
- ISTQB Foundation Level advantageous
- Fluent German and English language skills
