Freelancer Head of SAP, Interim SAP Lead in Vienna, AT

Do you bring structure to complex organizations, stabilize teams, and implement changes sustainably? Then an exciting interim mandate awaits you!

For an established IT consulting firm, we are looking for an experienced Interim Head of SAP who will stabilize, realign, and future-proof the SAP organization with around 30 internal employees and additional external resources.

Responsibilities

Analysis of the existing organization, identification of weaknesses, and derivation of concrete measures

Stabilization and structuring of the SAP department and initiation of change management

Optimization of project and resource management and clear assignment of responsibilities

Establishment of a uniform customer contact person ("One Face to the Customer")

Development of an internal employee for a future leadership role

Requirements

Many years of experience in leading larger SAP organizations or comparable leadership functions

Strong leadership skills, assertiveness, and experience in change processes

Very good overall overview of the SAP landscape, especially SD, MM, PP, SAC, and FI/CO

Experience with SAP Public Cloud and BTP is an advantage

Strong communication skills, solution-oriented, and able to achieve visible results quickly

Framework conditions

? Vienna, hybrid model with approx. 2-3 days on-site per week (4-5 days/week utilization)
