Project overview

With this request, we are looking for an MDM Developer (m/f/d)

For our client in Karlsruhe, we are looking for an MDM Developer (w/m/d) to support the project as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Migration of existing master data objects from Microsoft Master Data Services (MDS) to Profisee
• Extraction, analysis, and transfer of existing data into a predefined target data model
• Execution and support of data migration, including data validation and quality assurance
• Analysis and redevelopment of existing business rules and business logic within Profisee
• Configuration and further development of data models, data products, and workflows in Profisee
• Development and implementation of FastApps, webhooks, connectors, and REST API integrations
• Development and optimization of complex SQL and T-SQL queries as well as stored procedures
• Connecting Profisee to existing operational systems and enterprise applications
• Independent coordination with business departments for the acquisition, analysis, and implementation of business requirements
• Collaboration with internal IT teams on integration and interface topics
• Creation of technical documentation and ensuring knowledge transfer to internal employees
• Conducting training for key users and providing support during the implementation and stabilization phase
• Participation in an agile Scrum environment (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives)

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM)
• Profound knowledge of Microsoft Master Data Services (MDS)
• Experience with MDS data models, entities, attributes, hierarchies, business rules, and views
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Experience in developing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Experience in data migration and transformation projects
• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs
• Profound understanding of data modeling, data governance, and master data management
• Experience in integrating MDM solutions into existing system landscapes
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor when interacting with business departments and stakeholders
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Experience in agile project environments according to Scrum
