Freelancer SAP HCM Payroll & Time Management | 25 Hrs./Week | Freiburg Area

Project overview

For a short-term project at an internationally active industrial company in the Freiburg area, we are looking for an experienced freelancer in the field of HR Payroll, Time Management, and SAP HCM.

We are not looking for a pure HR strategist, but someone who can immediately get involved in operational HR business, handle payroll-relevant matters cleanly, and maintain an overview of complex time management issues.

In short: SAP HCM should be no adventure with an uncertain outcome for you. ?

Responsibilities

Support of operational personnel administration and payroll

Maintenance and verification of payroll-relevant master and transaction data in SAP HCM

Processing of time management topics in SAP HCM PT

Support with questions regarding shift models, bonuses, absences, and working hours

Verification and clarification of discrepancies between time management and payroll

Processing of collective bargaining and company agreements

Coordination with HR, Payroll, departments, and, if necessary, works council

Support with month-end closing activities and ensuring on-time payroll processes

Requirements

Several years of practical experience in payroll, HR administration, or time management

Very good knowledge of SAP HCM, especially PA, PY, and PT

Sound experience with German payroll processes

Knowledge of collective agreements, shift models, and works agreements

Confident handling of complex time management and payroll issues

Structured, independent, and reliable way of working

Very good German language skills

Short-term availability from November 2026

Particularly interesting: Experience as an SAP HCM Key User, Payroll Specialist, Time Management Specialist, or Interim HR Operations Specialist in a unionized industrial company.
