Freelance: Planning Engineer Civil Engineering | Braunschweig | Full-time | ASAP | April 2027 + Option to extend until 2028

Project overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineering Planning Engineer (m/f/d) to support our client in Braunschweig.

Responsibilities

• Planning, among others: earthworks, foundations for buildings and pipe bridges including deep foundations, structural shell (reinforced concrete, masonry), locksmith/steel construction, roof, facade, construction execution earthing/lightning protection
• Preliminary and detailed design of building structures as well as pipe/cable bridges
• Creation of building documents for the project (building permit authorization not strictly necessary)
• Checking information (loads, dimensions, etc.) from other trades
• Planning of construction site areas and facilities
• Coordination of interfaces
• Coordination of sub-planners for structural analysis and review of results
• Advising the client on further specialist planning or expert services

Requirements

• Completed studies as a civil engineer or architect
• Full-time – 5 days/week
• Very good German and English skills (project language is German/English)
• Several years of experience in comparable projects
