Naval Architect / Structural Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Naval Architect for our location in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid work model and contribute to challenging shipbuilding projects.

Your tasks include the mechanical 3D spatial coordination of piping and supports using modern PLM and CAD systems. You will work with Teamcenter and Siemens NX, observing all relevant shipbuilding regulations, guidelines, and standards. An important part of your activity is cross-departmental collaboration with various departments for problem clarification and coordination. Furthermore, you will carry out construction support activities, including on-site problem assessment and solution finding directly on board.

For this position, you should have a completed technical apprenticeship with further training as a technician or a completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Structural Engineering. You have practical experience in design/construction, ideally in shipbuilding, plant engineering, or mechanical engineering. Proficiency with Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM is required; knowledge of AutoCAD and other common CAD/CAE systems is advantageous. You have a solid understanding of technical regulations and design guidelines.

In terms of language, you have very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills, both written and spoken.

We offer a challenging role in an established company with modern technologies and the chance to contribute your expertise in a dynamic environment.
