Freelance Accountant with Treasury Touchpoints

Project overview

Currently, I am looking for a freelance accountant with treasury touchpoints (m/f/d) for my client:

Responsibilities

Must-Haves:

• Project-related support with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• Participation in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support with bank account reconciliations and balance reconciliations
• Involvement in payment transaction processes and bank-related reconciliation processes
• Support with payment releases and control mechanisms in the banking environment
• Participation in interest calculations and IC interest distributions on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Support with the consolidation of various companies
• Involvement in liquidity planning and cash management
• Support with KYC requirements and bank-related documentation processes
• Participation in reconciliations with national and international companies
• Support in the LucaNet and consolidation environment
• Several years of experience in accounting with a focus on general ledger
• Initial practical experience in the treasury environment
• Experience in payment transactions and bank reconciliations
• Knowledge of interest calculations and IC interest distributions
• Good Excel skills
• Very good German language skills
• Strong communication skills as well as a proactive and open way of working
• Experience with LucaNet

• Experience in cash management or liquidity planning
• Knowledge of treasury management systems, ideally ION ITS
• Experience with EBICS or comparable payment formats
• English language skills for communication with international companies
• Experience in a corporate group environment
• Junior Treasury Specialists with an operational focus and affinity for accounting
