Project overview

At virtual7, we combine our technological expertise with a deep understanding of our customers' needs. Through tailor-made solutions, we create real added value for our framework agreement partners in public administration. We are currently looking for a Frontend Developer (m/f/d) for one of our clients.

YOUR MISSION

At our client's site, in addition to central data storage and a data analysis platform with current software tools for analysis, a simulation-based forecasting capability for future-oriented usage control is being developed.

• Project location: Bonn
• Period: November 16, 2026, to December 31, 2026
• Work mix: 30 days remote / 4 days on-site
• Important: Remote work only possible within Germany
• Important: Project language is German
• Important: Willingness for SÜ2 according to § 9 SÜG confidential/sabotage protection
• Extension possible until June 30, 2027 (100 person-days remote / 10 days on-site)

• Ensuring and further developing the application on the fundamentally enabled cloud
• Working with PaaS for Data Analytics and Big Data Platform
• Within various domains, existing data sources are centralized, aggregated, prepared, and analyzed

• min. 3 years of experience with Python, Fast API, and Django
• min. 3 years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, UI framework usage or creation
• min. 3 years of experience with agile working methods Scrum, Kanban
• min. 3 years of experience with Angular ecosystem & state/testing libraries, Angular (version 20+), reactive programming with RxJS, automated unit & component testing with Jest, use of code quality tooling (e.g., linters like ESLint/TSLint)
• min. 3 years of experience in applying software quality assurance principles, code review, clean code, SOLID, static code analysis (e.g., SonarQube), linters
• min. 3 years of experience working with relational databases, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL
• min. 3 years of experience in build automation CI/CD pipelines, GitLab pipelines
• min. 1 year of experience with software architecture, 3-tier architecture, hexagonal architecture / clean architecture, design patterns (Observer, Singleton, Factory, Adapter, Inversion of Control)
• min. 1 year of experience in Linux system administration
• min. 1 year of knowledge in designing accessible frontends, WCAG regarding colors, contrasts, font sizes
• min. 1 year of experience with container technologies Kubernetes
• min. 1 year of experience in planning/conceptualization as well as services in data and application migration projects
