Full Stack Java Developer

Project overview

Introduction & Summary:

You are responsible for the support and further development of applications for invoice control of goods deliveries to market and warehouse locations. This role requires good knowledge of Java and Angular development to drive the software solution forward.

Responsibilities

• Further development of the application for market invoice control.
• Successive conversion of the frontend from Wicket to Angular, including functional redesign and functional adjustments.
• Collaboration with subject matter experts to develop an intuitive and efficient application.
• Proactive work to address challenges in the development process.
• Communication both within the team and with the business department.
• Actively contributing feedback and opinions to improve the way of working.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with Java.
• At least 2 years of experience with Angular.
• Experience in connecting backend systems to the web frontend (including authentication via OAuth).
• Knowledge of Test Driven Design and Pair Programming.
• Good knowledge of build tools (GIT, Gitlab Pipelines, Helm, Maven, NPM, Docker).

Nice to have

Experience in operating cloud applications.

Knowledge of Kafka and MapR.

Project details

The position is to be filled 3 days on-site in Cologne and 2 days in home office. We are looking for a dedicated developer for a modern, dynamic team that creates innovative solutions.
