Fullstack Developer Payment Transactions / SWIFT / PostgreSQL / 100% / ZH

Project: For a demanding project in the financial environment, we are looking for a Fullstack Developer to strengthen an agile Scrum team. The team develops, operates, and optimizes applications in the field of electronic payment transactions, particularly in the areas of EBICS, SWIFT, and MBCLT.

Start 01.10.2026 for 12 months in Zurich.

Responsibilities

Development and further development of frontend components with Angular

• Independent implementation of features and user stories within an agile Scrum team
• Analysis and business understanding of requirements in close cooperation with the business departments
• Technical conception, analysis, and design of banking-specific requirements
• Development and further development of backend components with Java and Spring
• Analysis and processing of database requirements with Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Creation and optimization of SQL queries
• Taking responsibility for quality, deadlines, and technical implementation of own deliverables
• Participation in the further development of solutions in the areas of EBICS, SWIFT, and payment transactions
• Support of existing applications during ongoing operations
• Independent handling of 2nd-level support and incidents
• Close cooperation with IT teams and subject matter specialists

• Several years of professional experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack Developer, or comparable role
• Very good practical experience in Java and Spring
• Very good knowledge of Angular
• Very good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Sound experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Experience with agile development methods, especially Scrum
• Experience in the technical analysis and conception of complex applications
• Experience in the banking or payment transactions environment
• Knowledge of EBICS and/or SWIFT is an advantage
• Experience with production-related application support, 2nd-level support, and incident management
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• German: Fluent C2
• English: good B2
