Service Description

A short-term consultancy is sought to analyze, fix, and test the implemented measures for existing security vulnerabilities in two applications. The goal of this tender is to support the existing team until the end of the year and bring the applications to a stable code and package base.

Responsibilities

Work Organization and Environment:

• Remediation of security vulnerabilities in two web applications
• Work on serverless ReactJS web applications with MySQL databases
• Analysis and adaptation of JavaScript code libraries
• Processing of security vulnerabilities and updates related to DPKG, OpenSSL, lib, curl, Python, and perl-base
• Performing package updates and subsequent tests
• Taking on full-stack tasks
• Independent processing of tasks listed in two security tools
• Implementation of task packages based on GitLab tickets
• Organization and prioritization of tasks via a Kanban board
• Work in a DevOps environment

Requirements

About the Client

• Experience in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience with common frontend frameworks, e.g., ReactJS, Vue.js, or Angular
• Excellent knowledge of software design, problem-solving, and debugging for analyzing and fixing technical issues
• Technical knowledge in the Microsoft Azure technology stack, e.g., Azure Functions
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
