Fullstack Developer

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) with a frontend focus.

As part of a comprehensive modernization, an existing Java/Swing application landscape, some of which is over 15 years old, is being replaced by a modern web client-server architecture for intranet and extranet applications. The implementation will take place in an agile Scrum team based on Spring in the backend and Angular in the frontend. The focus of the desired role is clearly on web frontend development with Angular.

• End: mid-2027 with option for extension
• Location: Stuttgart
• Remote share: 95% (from Germany)

• Development and further development of modern single-page web applications based on Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Implementation of business requirements into user-friendly, performant, and maintainable frontend components
• Conception and implementation of component-based frontend architectures using Angular Material and RxJS
• Connection and integration of REST interfaces for communication with Spring-based backend services
• Maintenance and optimization of existing UI/UX concepts as well as ensuring responsiveness and accessibility
• Creation and further development of automated unit tests with Jasmine or Jest
• Conception, implementation, and execution of end-to-end tests
• Application of Test Driven Development to ensure high software quality
• Execution of code reviews, error analysis, and other quality assurance measures
• Version control and collaborative software development with Git
• Close collaboration with backend developers, product owners, and other team members in a Scrum environment
• More than five years of practical experience with Angular
• More than five years of practical experience with TypeScript
• More than five years of practical experience with HTML5
• More than five years of practical experience with CSS
• Two to five years of experience with Angular Material
• Two to five years of experience with RxJS
• Two to five years of experience with Single-Page Applications
• Two to five years of experience in application development
• Two to five years of experience with REST interfaces
• Two to five years of experience with Git
• Two to five years of experience with unit tests using Jasmine or Jest
• Two to five years of experience with end-to-end tests
• Two to five years of practical experience with Test Driven Development
• Demonstrable experience in developing user-friendly, performant, and component-based web applications
• Experience in agile software development, preferably in a Scrum environment
• Practical experience with JavaScript
• Knowledge of Java, Spring, and JPA
• Experience with IntelliJ IDEA
• Two to five years of project experience in the healthcare sector
• Strong logical and structured thinking skills
• Very good communication and teamwork skills
