Functional Administrator Low-Code Platform (Mendix)

Project overview

As a functional administrator, you will be responsible for the setup and further development of a new low-code platform (Mendix) within a secure, on-premises OpenShift environment.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing tenants, roles, and access rights within the platform
• Monitoring configurations, component usage, and modeling
• Coordinating releases, acceptance processes, and associated documentation
• Advising DevOps teams on data models, components, and integrations
• Identifying and analyzing functional bottlenecks
• Communicating guidelines, best practices, and governance agreements
• Handling functional incidents and change requests
• Translating user requirements into concrete adjustments
• Liaising with technical management and other stakeholders
• Validating data models, validation rules, and process flows
• Performing quality checks and audits
• Supporting new teams in platform adoption
• Creating manuals and providing training
• Applying security and privacy guidelines such as GDPR and RBAC
• Ensuring platform standards and lifecycle management
• Proven experience in the role of functional administrator
• Experience in Agile and DevOps environments
• Knowledge of low-code platforms, Mendix is preferred
• Experience with managing incidents, changes, and releases
• Familiarity with BiSL and ITIL processes
• Experience with performing acceptance tests and functional test scenarios
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift or similar container platforms (preferred)
• Experience with Mendix 11 (preferred)
• Insight into data modeling, process flows, and integrations (preferred)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Java, and CSS/UI-UX (preferred)
• Certification such as ITIL 4 Foundation, RCA, Mendix Expert, or Mendix Architect is a plus
