Project Environment

For a demanding project in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced specialist (m/f/d) with in-depth knowledge of e-banking, end-to-end process analysis, and test and quality management.

The focus is on the analysis, optimization, and quality assurance of digital banking processes, as well as ensuring smooth integration between frontend, backend, and connected banking systems.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Analysis and evaluation of complex e-banking processes along the entire end-to-end process chain

Recording, structuring, and evaluating functional and technical requirements

Analysis of interfaces, data flows, and dependencies between e-banking platforms and backend systems

Creation and execution of functional and technical test cases and test scenarios

Planning, coordination, and execution of integration, system, and end-to-end tests

Identification, analysis, and tracking of errors, as well as support in their resolution

Close collaboration with business departments, IT development, test management, and external service providers

Support in quality assurance, acceptance, and introduction of new e-banking functionalities

Requirements and Qualifications

Several years of project experience in the e-banking environment and in-depth understanding of digital banking processes

In-depth knowledge of end-to-end processes and their technical and functional dependencies

Strong experience in business and system analysis as well as requirements engineering

Comprehensive practical experience in testing, especially integration, system, and end-to-end testing

Understanding of payment transaction processes, account management, authentication procedures, and digital banking applications

Experience with interface architectures, APIs, and the integration of various banking systems

Knowledge of common test management and defect tracking tools, such as Jira, Xray, or comparable solutions

Analytical, structured, and self-reliant way of working

Strong communication skills and experience in collaborating with business departments and IT teams

Project Goal

Ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality e-banking processes through a holistic end-to-end view, in-depth system and process analyses, and structured test and quality management.

Special Focus: We are not looking for a pure tester, but for an experienced e-banking specialist who understands complex functional and technical contexts, analyzes them independently, and can ensure the quality of the entire process chain.
