Job description
The client is looking for a Functional Safety Assessor to analyze and evaluate safety concepts and requirements in system, software, and hardware development for client projects. The role involves conducting assessments, audits, and certifications for ISO 26262 and contributing to new standards like ISO 21448 (SOTIF).
Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments, audits, and certifications of functional safety for ISO 26262 as a Functional Safety Assessor
- Analysis and evaluation of safety concepts and requirements in system, software, and hardware development for client projects.
- Active participation in new standards and the development of methods such as ISO 21448 (SOTIF) and ISO 21434
- Leading Functional Safety projects

- Very good Functional Safety (ISO 26262) know-how
- Knowledge of upcoming standards such as ISO 21448 (SOTIF)
- Knowledge of other Functional Safety and/or Cybersecurity standards such as IEC 61508, IEC 61511, ISO 13849, ISO 21434 or IEC 62443 are a strong plus
- Experience with audits, certifications, and/or assessments of functional safety in applied products related to the automotive industry
- Min. 4 years of experience in a safety-relevant environment
- Dynamic and independent personality. With a passion for Safety and Security
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- Knowledge of French is a plus
