Functional SAP Consultant – Authorizations & IS

Project overview

We are looking for a Functional SAP Consultant – Authorizations & IS Finance for a 3-month renewable mission in Paris 15th.

Mission Context

As part of the transformation of its Finance Information System, our client is looking for an SAP Authorizations / SAP GRC Consultant to join its Authorizations department.

You will be part of a team dedicated to the control, administration, and continuous improvement of rights and access to the Finance IS applications.

Your role will be functional, operational, and focused on continuous improvement, with strong interaction with business users as well as with MOA/MOE teams.

Profile Sought

We are primarily looking for a functional and operational profile, capable of handling SAP authorization issues while being comfortable with users, incident tracking, reporting, and project topics.

Experience in SAP Authorizations / SAP GRC / SAP Access Management will be particularly valued.

• Operational Management of Authorizations – MCO
• Daily processing of access and authorization requests for Finance IS applications.
• Receiving, analyzing, qualifying, and tracking user requests.
• Controlling the granting and revocation of rights in compliance with security and conformity rules.
• Assisting and advising users with their access requests.
• Monitoring tickets and communicating on their progress.
• Diagnosing and resolving incidents related to access and authorizations.
• Escalating incidents requiring intervention from MOA/MOE teams.
• Control and Review of Authorizations
• Regularly performing reviews of accounts, roles, and rights.
• Conducting checks on roles with extended rights, particularly in the SAP environment.
• Controlling licenses and identifying any overruns or anomalies.
• Preparing reports and indicators for the domain.
• Identifying risks and anomalies and ensuring they are reported to the relevant managers.
• Contributing to general IT controls.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identifying malfunctions and proposing areas for improvement.
• Optimizing request and authorization management processes.
• Contributing to the improvement of the department's tools and processes.
• Describing workflows and their indicators.
• Keeping functional documentation and procedures up to date.
• Contribution to Projects
• Participating in the evolution projects of the Finance IS.
• Analyzing change requests related to authorizations.
• Contributing to the integration of new application scopes, roles, and profiles.
• Participating in testing phases.
• Writing and tracking test cases.
• Contributing to the formalization of test results in Squash.
• Participating in workshops and producing associated minutes.
• Significant experience in managing authorizations / access rights.
• Good knowledge of SAP, ideally S/4HANA.
• Experience with role, profile, and authorization issues.
• Good command of office tools, especially Excel.
• Ability to analyze data and produce reports.
• Ease in processing tickets and user requests.
