Job description

Project overview

FORTIFY Private Wealth Management (Washington, PA)

Paid Summer Internship

$15 per hour | Approximately 24 hours per week | 10-week program | Tuesdays through Thursdays

Looking for More Than a Typical Internship?

The most successful financial advisors are more than finance experts. They know how to connect with people, earn trust, communicate effectively and help clients navigate important long-term financial decisions.

This is not a sit-back-and-observe internship. At FORTIFY Private Wealth Management, we are seeking ambitious rising juniors and seniors enrolled in four-year degree programs who are seriously interested in exploring a career as a financial advisor. Interns will work directly alongside experienced advisors, learning how to attract clients, build relationships, and grow a thriving practice. They will also contribute to marketing campaigns, business development initiatives, and client relationship management.

What You'll Experience:

Client Relationships & Professional Communication

Marketing & Business Growth

Business Operations

Leadership & Professional Development

Who Thrives at FORTIFY?

You might be a strong fit if you:

Are interested in building a career as a financial advisor

Enjoy meeting new people and developing meaningful relationships

Bring a competitive, growth-oriented mindset

Are comfortable initiating conversations and presenting ideas

Demonstrate self-discipline, accountability, and follow-through

Are curious, coachable, and eager to learn

Have experience in sales, athletics, leadership, fundraising, recruiting, or other customer-facing roles

Why FORTIFY?

At FORTIFY Private Wealth Management, we believe success begins with relationships.

You will work alongside professionals who are committed to helping clients make confident financial decisions while mentoring the next generation of leaders. This internship provides meaningful exposure to business development, client engagement, leadership, and professional growth in a collaborative team environment.

Our goal is not simply to provide a summer job. Top-performing interns may be considered for future career opportunities and participation in FORTIFY's Financial Advisor Development Program following graduation.
