About the Role
We are looking for a German-speaking trainer for our GCP & dbt course. The course is practical and application-oriented. It is aimed at career changers who want to learn how to work with a cloud data warehouse and build modern data pipelines. You will conduct live sessions in German (1.5 hours per day, Monday to Thursday), guide participants through practical exercises and business case projects, and work closely with our curriculum team to ensure the content is effectively delivered in class. The course takes place as soon as a cohort reaches this section of the program.
Therefore, it does not necessarily run every month, sometimes only every two months.

- Fundamentals of Cloud Computing and Introduction to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- BigQuery: Architecture, Data Structures, Data Upload, and Data Modeling
- Advanced Data Exploration, Scheduled Queries, and ETL in BigQuery
- Data Visualization and Dashboarding with Looker Studio
- ETL vs. ELT and Basic Concepts of the Modern Data Stack
- dbt Cloud: Studio IDE, Creating Models, Advanced Models, and Testing
- dbt with Snowflake
- End-to-End Business Case Projects
- Native or fluent German level. All sessions are conducted exclusively in German.
- Hands-on experience with GCP/BigQuery and dbt (professional or project-based)
- Very good SQL skills and solid knowledge in data modeling (e.g., Star Schema, Staging/Marts Layer)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Experience with Looker Studio or another BI tool
- Experience in teaching, coaching, or mentoring
- The ability to explain technical concepts understandably to non-technical learners
- Reliability, good communication, and availability for live sessions of 1.5 hours, Monday to Thursday
- Thorough preparation: Test setups and exercises in advance and provide clear, understandable feedback on participants' projects
