Job description
Freelance building automation technician needed for programming and commissioning of technical building equipment for nationwide projects, primarily in hospitals, office buildings, and high-rises.
Project overview
For long-term projects in building automation, we are looking for a freelance building automation technician for programming and commissioning of technical building equipment. The focus is on the integration and control of various building technology systems as well as communication via common bus systems and protocols.
The assignments take place in functional buildings such as hospitals, office buildings, and high-rises. The projects are carried out nationwide directly on-site.
Responsibilities
Programming, parameterization, and commissioning of building automation systems
Integration and control of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems as well as lighting and blind controls
Configuration and connection of various bus systems and communication protocols, especially BACnet, LON, and Modbus
Integration of third-party devices and interfaces into existing building automation systems
Analysis and troubleshooting as well as optimization of existing control and regulation functions
Requirements
Completed training as an electrical technician, for example with a focus on automation technology, or a comparable degree
Practical knowledge in programming building automation systems
Experience with bus systems and communication protocols, especially BACnet, LON, and Modbus
Knowledge in the control and integration of HVAC systems, lighting, and blinds
Willingness for nationwide project assignments with full on-site presence
Important: We are looking for a programmer with sound knowledge in building automation. A technician specializing solely in KNX without further programming knowledge in building management systems and the mentioned communication protocols is not suitable for the project.
