As Area Manager, you support the cooperation between the involved infrastructure partners and contractors within infrastructural projects in the region. The assignment is focused on improving chain cooperation, identifying bottlenecks and realizing concrete improvements in processes, performance and cooperation.

The contractor operates independently, without hierarchical management of employees and without responsibility for the regular business operations of the client.

• An analysis of the current cooperation between network companies and contractors, including recommendations for improvement
• An implementation plan for the phase-out of the existing contractor, the transition to the new contractors, and the onboarding and cooperation with new contractors towards 2027/2028
• Facilitating consultation and improvement sessions between involved contract parties
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks within the combi process
• Delivering periodic reports with improvement proposals and progress reports
• Advising stakeholders on process optimization, cooperation and performance improvement
• Realizing demonstrable improvements in cooperation, lead times and coordination between involved parties
• The realization of a stable chain process after the transition. The aim is to achieve a high chain result by organizing operations in such a way that the network operators, the combi organization and the contractors are aligned with each other in terms of management, lead times and capacity. This objective should, within realistic frameworks, maximize the number of customers served

• Coordinating alignment between contractors
• Identifying risks and bottlenecks and preparing improvement proposals for these
• Guiding improvement initiatives within the chain
• Organizing and facilitating workshops with stakeholders
• Advising on the design and optimization of work processes
• Supporting the implementation of new contract parties
• Reporting on progress, risks and achieved results
• Experience with Combi work is an advantage
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience with electricity and water network operators
• Experience with cable and pipeline infrastructure
• Extensive experience in organizing chain processes and cooperation within those processes in a complex environment
• Experience with contractors in underground infrastructure
• HBO working and thinking level
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience with process improvement and chain cooperation
• Independently working and result-oriented
• Strong communication and connecting abilities
