The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining general accounting records within the finance department, reporting to the Financial Controller. This role involves preparing accounting entries, provisions, bank reconciliations, and managing fixed assets.

Within the finance department and under the responsibility of the financial controller, you will be responsible for maintaining general accounting records.
As part of your duties, you will prepare accounting entries, provisions, and perform monthly bank reconciliations. You will actively participate in month-end closing processes and ensure the complete accounting management of fixed assets.
You will also manage payroll-related entries in close collaboration with human resources, and participate in recurring tax declarations as well as corporate tax calculations.
Furthermore, you will support budget monitoring, prepare non-financial data, and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal control processes. You will work on a varied scope including intercompany reconciliations, time management, and validation of customer and supplier master data.
Candidate profile
With higher education in accounting or finance, you have at least three years of professional experience in similar roles.
You have solid knowledge of general accounting and a perfect command of current standards. You demonstrate excellent IT skills, including imperative mastery of integrated management software and advanced Excel spreadsheet functions.
With a strong analytical mind and great rigor with numbers, you are recognized for your organizational skills and your ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
