Seeking a Senior Generative AI / LLM Engineer for a fully remote, long-term project in public administration, focusing on developing and integrating AI applications.
Project overview
For an AI program in public administration, we are looking for an experienced professional from January 2027, fully remote with a runtime until the end of 2029. The program takes AI applications from idea to operation and anchors them in the organization.

Security Requirement
A security clearance (Ü2) is required for the project. It will be newly conducted for the project. Willingness is sufficient; an existing clearance is not required. The prerequisite for this is German citizenship.
- Develop and integrate LLM applications
- Build RAG systems with vector-based search
- Structure and version prompt logic
- Control and secure model behavior
- Integrate AI solutions into existing systems
- 3 years of software development with Python
- At least 1 year of Generative AI / LLM including RAG and Prompt Engineering
- 2 years of AI projects from data preparation to operation
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- German C1+, English B1+
- Professional experience at a senior level
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud (GCP)
