GKV Data Exchange - Senior SAP Development

Project overview

Starting Situation:

For a long-term SAP project in the GKV data exchange environment, a Senior SAP ABAP Developer is sought. The focus is on the maintenance, further development, and modernization of existing SAP in-house developments, as well as the implementation of legal changes and functional requirements.

Responsibilities

Framework Data:

• Maintenance and functional further development of existing ABAP custom procedures in GKV data exchange
• Implementation of legal changes
• Error analysis and resolution
• Refactoring and modularization according to Clean ABAP principles
• Processing of data exchange formats including FHIR
• Unit tests, ATC checks, and documentation
• Functional consulting for the team on GKV data exchange and knowledge transfer
• Start time: expected Q1/2027
• Duration: approx. 2 years, extension by 2 x 12 months possible
• Utilization: approx. 2–4 PT/week
• Location: predominantly remote, on-site in North Rhine-Westphalia on occasion
• Project language: German

Requirements

• Industry experience in health insurance companies / IT service providers for GKV
• GKV data exchange (data reception, clearing, reporting procedures), min. 2 years
• ABAP / ABAP OO, min. 5 years
• Refactoring & modernization of in-house developments, min. 3 years
• ADT/Eclipse, ATC, ABAP Unit, Code Inspector, Clean ABAP
• Independent remote work
• Structured documentation / knowledge transfer
