SAP ABAP Developer, Module PM for S/4HANA Project

Responsibilities

• Migration of existing custom developments into the S/4HANA SAP core system of the parent company with a focus on the SAP module SAP-PM
• Migration of complex ABAP code and DDIC objects from an SAP ECC AnyDB system to SAP S/4HANA
• Analysis and optimization of SQL statements in ABAP programs as part of the migration
• Independent familiarization with existing ABAP programs, assuming missing system documentation
• Creation/preparation of system documentation after the migration of the corresponding programs

• Sound experience from larger migration projects
• Very good knowledge of the SAP module PM, LAM, MRS, and PM MasterData
• Ability to analyze and optimize SQL statements in ABAP programs
• Understanding of TMS and object locks from a developer's perspective
• Experience in creating system documentation, both in code and external documentation
• Very good German language skills
• Very good English language skills (B2 or comparable). Project language is English and German.

As an ABAP Developer, you will support the team in migrating to the S/4 Hana core system of the parent company. Our client's German entity and the Belgian parent company are merging their existing SAP systems. As part of a brownfield migration, the processes of the German company's SAP ERP system will be migrated to the Belgian S4/HANA system.
