Experienced Fiber Optic Installer needed for a large production hall, involving laying, splicing, and connecting fiber optic cables, as well as copper cabling and network component setup.
Responsibilities
The profile sought
- Professional installation of fiber optic/LWL cables in a large production hall
- Splicing and terminating LWL fibers
- Assembly and connection of LWL components and patch panels
- Installation and cabling of copper lines
- Setup and cabling of network components
- Performing LWL measurements and tests
- Fault analysis and troubleshooting of network and cabling infrastructure
- Documentation of laid cable routes and executed work
- Working according to technical specifications and applicable safety standards
- Several years of demonstrable experience in fiber optic/LWL installation and network infrastructure
- Very good practical knowledge in splicing fiber optics
- Experience in copper and network cabling
- Confident handling of common tools and measuring devices in the field of LWL and network technology
- Independent, meticulous, and quality-conscious way of working
- Experience in industrial environments or large production halls is an advantage
- Very good German language skills are an advantage
