Project overview
We are looking for a senior Go Developer for backend development of a new greenfield healthcare portal for the US market. The role is focused on Go, REST API, microservices, AWS, and integrations of services in the healthcare sector.

- development of a new greenfield healthcare portal that provides users with information about medications, health claims, and related healthcare services
- development of a solution for a client from the healthcare sector in cooperation with an American partner focused on pharmacy benefits management
- cooperation with the US team and involvement in the technical direction of the backend part of the solution
- design and development of backend services in Go
- design and development of REST API and integrations of individual healthcare services
- development and evolution of an architecture based on microservices
- development of a solution utilizing AWS
- cooperation across product, operational, and clinical teams
- work with regard to the scalability, high availability, and security of the solution
- cooperation predominantly remote from the Czech Republic with a strong preference for 2 days onsite per week in Prague and with time flexibility for later afternoon or evening calls with the US team
- at least 5 years of commercial software development experience
- strong practical commercial experience with Go, ideally at least 3 years or more relevant projects
- practical experience with REST API / RESTful services
- practical experience with microservices
- practical experience with AWS
- English at C1 level enabling confident daily communication with the US team
- availability to start cooperation no later than 1. 11. 2026
- time flexibility for some calls with the US team in late afternoons or evenings
- experience with technology architecture design and technical foundations of microservices
- experience with developing products used by real customers
- experience with security standards and secure development principles
- experience from an American or international company
- experience from the healthcare environment
- experience with PCI or HIPAA compliance
