Structural Engineer (m/f/d)

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced structural engineer (m/f/d) for the planning and design of steel structures in industrial construction. The location is in Rhineland-Palatinate, and the work is on-site.

Responsibilities

You will create 3D layouts and 2D drawings for steel structures of gas engine CHP plants and adjust installation plans according to specifications. You will apply relevant planning standards, DIN standards, and safety regulations and perform quantity surveys for the preparation of tender documents. You will check and reconcile models and drawings from other project participants in the CAD system. You will participate in technical coordination meetings, focusing on the installation of building technology, and archive design documents revision-proof in the document management system.

Collaboration with adjacent disciplines such as process engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and project management is essential. You will independently process defined work packages, taking into account time and quality specifications.

Requirements

You have completed vocational training as a structural designer, technical draftsman, technician, or equivalent. You have a confident command of Autodesk Revit Structure/Architecture or comparable 3D design software and several years of professional experience in planning construction projects, ideally in industrial construction. You are interested in power plant facilities and interdisciplinary project work. Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are required. You are characterized by teamwork, good communication skills, confident prioritization, and a structured, independent way of working.
