3D Modeling High-Voltage Systems – Detail Engineering

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced 3D designer for the detailed modeling and planning of high-voltage systems and substations in the voltage range of 16 to 380 kV.

Your tasks include the complete 3D modeling of system arrangements, including electrical equipment, steel structures, and associated infrastructure. You will develop steel structures and metal frameworks for components such as insulators and switchgear, and constructively implement technical specifications and component dimensions into 3D models. Furthermore, you will create and adapt 2D derivations, section drawings, assembly documents, and detailed designs. You will provide constructive support for new and modification projects from planning through to implementation.

Close collaboration with electrical engineers, structural engineers, and other specialist planners is essential. You will consider the technical interfaces between equipment, steel structures, and the overall system, maintain BIM models, and provide constructive support for on-site assembly.

We expect at least 3-5 years of experience with Autodesk Revit in the 3D modeling of complex technical systems, as well as sound design experience in steel and metal construction with Autodesk Inventor. Experience in equipment or industrial plant construction is required. You should be able to independently develop and model steel structures and supports and have a solid understanding of constructive interfaces. Knowledge of technical detail drawings and assembly-friendly design documents is necessary.

German language skills are required; French or English are advantageous. The position is planned for at least one year and offers the possibility of an extension.
