Hiring: Guidewire Automation Lead Plano TX

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Automation Tester with strong expertise in Guidewire functional testing, PolicyCenter, and programming-based test automation.

Job Title: Guidewire Automation Lead

Position Type: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain in sprint automated test scripts for UI API and integration testing

Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories

Execute automated tests log defects with detailed reproduction steps and support defect triage

Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation

Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system level and regression testing

Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets

Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently

Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews

Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix RTM

Support manual testing efforts when required including test planning execution and reporting

Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates test coverage and productivity

Required Skills Experience

13 years of experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing

Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects

Hands on experience with typescript automation tools such as Playwright Taiko or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress Selenium

Hands on experience in Programming based Test Automation toolset and should be part of Test Design for minimum of 2 Years

Hands on Experience in working with Git Repository

Independently handle Test Code issue resolution updates Debugging

Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as HP ALM JIRA or equivalent

Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards

Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Knowledge on CI CD

Knowledge of API testing tools like Karate Postman or Rest Assured

Preferred Skills Nice to Have

Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing

Experience in improving test coverage and test strategy

Familiarity with performance testing tools CICD tools should be good
