Hamburg: Freelance Electrical Engineer Operations Technology (M/F/D) Wanted

For a long-term project in Hamburg, I am currently looking for an experienced freelance electrical engineer (m/f/d) to support the technical inventory and preparation of dismantling and conversion measures in existing industrial plants.

The focus of the activity is not on planning, but on the practical recording of existing electrical engineering systems on site. We are looking for someone with sound experience in an industrial environment who can independently identify, document, and evaluate cable trays, cabling, and technical installations.

Key Data:

• Start: immediately
• Duration: approx. 24 months (+ extension option)
• Utilization: Full-time
• Location: Hamburg, predominantly on-site
• Contract Type: Freelance

Responsibilities

• Carrying out technical inventory surveys in industrial plants
• Identification and documentation of existing cable routes, cable trays, and cabling
• Recording of fire alarm, power, and control lines on site
• Inspection of plant areas to record the existing infrastructure
• Labeling and assignment of cables and components
• Support in evaluating dismantling and conversion measures
• Documentation of results and maintenance of technical documents
• Coordination with operations, maintenance, and the project team

• Qualification as an electrical specialist
• Completed training as an Electronics Technician for Operations Technology, Industrial Electrician, Energy Systems Electrician, or comparable
• Experience in industrial, power plant, chemical, or production plants
• Practical experience with cable systems, cable trays, and electrical infrastructure
• Experience in inventory surveys and technical documentation
• Willingness for regular plant inspections and activities directly within the plant
• Experience in dismantling or plant shutdowns
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems (BMA)
• Experience in the maintenance of industrial plants
