Job description
We are looking for a Hardware EPLANer with experience in creating electrical documentation and control systems using EPLAN P8. The role involves planning, component selection, and coordination with various teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Creation, editing, and maintenance of circuit diagrams, schematics, and electrical documentation with EPLAN P8
- Planning and engineering of control cabinets, power distribution systems, and control systems
- Design and selection of electrical components, switchgear, sensors, actuators, and field devices
- Creation of terminal diagrams, cable plans, assembly plans, parts lists, and control cabinet layouts
- Support for system modifications, retrofit projects, and new/expansion projects
- Coordination with project management, design, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning
- Technical clarification with customers, suppliers, and external service providers
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and customer specifications
- Support during commissioning and acceptance

- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or further training as a state-certified Electrical Technician
- Several years of professional experience in electrical design with EPLAN P8
- Good knowledge of control cabinet construction, control technology, and electrical design
- Experience in creating circuit diagrams, terminal diagrams, cable lists, and parts lists
- Knowledge of mechanical and plant engineering, special machine construction, or energy technology is an advantage
- Ideally, experience with EPLAN Pro Panel, EPLAN Electric P8, AutoCAD, or RUPLAN
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems such as Siemens Step7, TIA Portal, or Codesys is an advantage
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (DIN, VDE, Machinery Directive) is desirable
- Very good German language skills
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong team and communication skills
- Willingness to travel three days a week to Flensburg
