- Verification and validation of PCIe-based hardware designs within a modern automotive compute platform
- Conducting measurements and analyses on high-speed interfaces
- Evaluation of signal quality, signal integrity, and timing behavior
- Analysis of technical error patterns and derivation of suitable countermeasures
- Performing laboratory tests, hardware debugging, and validation of new hardware samples
- Support with design reviews and hardware approvals
- Documentation of verification results and creation of technical reports
- Sound experience with PCI Express (PCIe) and high-speed communication technologies
- Experience in high-speed hardware development and design verification
- Good knowledge of signal integrity, timing, and interface validation
- Confident use of modern measurement and laboratory equipment
- Experience with complex embedded or compute platforms
- Industry knowledge from automotive, avionics, aerospace, or defense is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of Mentor Graphics Expedition VX and Siemens Teamcenter
- Knowledge of IBM DOORS NG is an advantage
- Fluent English skills
- A short-term project start is possible
