Hardware Verification Engineer – PCI Express & High-Speed Technologies

Responsibilities

Profile

• Verification and validation of PCIe-based hardware designs within a modern automotive compute platform
• Performing measurements and analyses on high-speed interfaces
• Evaluation of signal quality, signal integrity, and timing behavior
• Analysis of technical error patterns and derivation of suitable countermeasures
• Conducting laboratory experiments, hardware debugging, and validation of new hardware samples
• Support with design reviews and hardware releases
• Documentation of verification results and creation of technical reports
• Sound experience with PCI Express (PCIe) and high-speed communication technologies
• Experience in high-speed hardware development and design verification
• Good knowledge of signal integrity, timing, and interface validation
• Confident use of modern measurement and laboratory equipment
• Experience with complex embedded or compute platforms
• Industry knowledge from automotive, avionics, aerospace, or defense is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of Mentor Graphics Expedition VX and Siemens Teamcenter
• Knowledge of IBM DOORS NG is an advantage
• Fluent English skills
