Job description
Develop and test high-speed hardware, including PCIe Gen6/Gen7 systems, and optimize hardware design. Requires experience in hardware development, debugging, and high-speed design principles.
Responsibilities
Profile
- Planning and execution of measurements and characterizations (S-parameters, high-speed measurements)
- Commissioning and startup of complex high-speed hardware (PCIe Gen6/Gen7 systems)
- Troubleshooting (debugging) and error analysis at system and board level
- Layout and design optimizations
- Maintenance and further development of engineering tools (test boards, breakout boards)
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable course of study
- Experience in Siemens Xpedition
- Solid experience in hardware development or hardware debugging
- Profound knowledge in: High-speed design (PCIe, SerDes, signal integrity), board commissioning, and laboratory validation
- Handling of measuring instruments (high-speed oscilloscope, VNA, BERT)
- Very good English skills
- Willingness for on-site assignments
