Head of Construction Execution Overhead Lines

Project overview

For two long-term network reinforcement projects in the high-voltage sector, we are seeking an experienced Head of Construction Execution. The projects include the replacement and reinforcement of existing overhead line systems in the Eichstetten and Lörrach regions.

The Head of Construction Execution will be responsible for managing and monitoring construction execution on behalf of the client. They will be the central point of contact for the executing trades, plant operations, and other project participants, ensuring that construction measures are implemented in compliance with deadlines, quality standards, permits, and occupational safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Central point of contact for the client for the construction executing trades, plant operations, and other project participants
• Monitoring construction execution for compliance with building permits, schedules, construction plans, technical specifications, and legal regulations
• Coordination of individual construction lots and interfaces, as well as organization and execution of regular construction meetings
• Ensuring communication between project management, internal departments, plant operations, and the construction site management of the contractors
• Control and management of construction site documentation, particularly inspection reports, test logs, daily construction logs, attendance lists, deliveries, and waste disposal records
• Monitoring compliance with occupational, health, and environmental protection regulations and enforcing necessary measures with the contractors

• Technical university or college degree, preferably in civil engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in construction execution or construction management, ideally in overhead line construction or comparable infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of relevant permits, legal regulations, technical standards, and requirements for occupational, health, and environmental protection
• Experience in schedule, quality, cost, and interface management, as well as construction site documentation
• Confident use of MS Office and project-related documentation systems
• Assertiveness, confident demeanor, and a structured, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to work

• Scope of work: approx. 160 hours per month
