Project overview
We are currently looking for an Instrumentation & Control Specialist for a 3-month site-based contract in Belgium.
The role is focused on field verification, instrumentation checks and DCS interaction, including:
The client is looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation, field inspections, instrument installation verification and DCS/control systems.
Previous commissioning or pre-commissioning experience is essential.

- Performing field checks of instrumentation
- Verifying installed equipment against engineering documentation
- Identifying discrepancies between field installation and drawings
- Conducting loop checks and functional checks
- Working from P&IDs, instrument datasheets, loop diagrams and I/O lists
- Verifying signals between field instruments and the DCS/control system
- Supporting troubleshooting of instrumentation and control-system issues
- Following up on outstanding field and commissioning issues
