Assignment description

For the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, we are looking for an IAM Consultant who has earned their first stripes. It is a team with a crucial role in IT service provision; due to the ever-increasing threat in the world and the ever-increasing security requirements, we are drastically renewing our IAM systems. In this busy time, we need help to make the organization and applications suitable and connect them to our renewed IAM environment.

Background of assignment

The RIVM IV organization provides IT services for a total of approximately 4500 people, both internally and for external partners. Over the years, an IAM environment has been built for this, which requires more and more maintenance and integration efforts. Therefore, we are looking ahead and have decided to renew the IAM back-end.

The RIVM conducts applied scientific research in the field of public health and the environment/living environment. The National Vaccination Program, modeling the origin and spread of diseases, and monitoring air quality are some examples of its activities. The RIVM, in partnership with the KNMI, has outsourced its IT to the Shared Service Centre (SSC-) Campus. SSC-Campus provides IT services to the founding partners RIVM and KNMI and to other government agencies that require IT support for their knowledge-intensive and scientific activities.

Participants in SSC-Campus currently include: RIVM, KNMI, CBG, CPB, PBL, RLI, SCP, and RWS.
