IAM/Identity Governance Consultant (NetIQ)

Project overview

For our client from the public or financial sector, we are looking for an experienced NetIQ Identity Governance Consultant / Administrator (m/f/d) to support the regular operation and further development of the existing identity governance landscape. The goal is to ensure stable operation and continuous optimization of user and authorization management.

Responsibilities

• Consulting and support in the operation of the existing identity governance environment
• Analysis, localization, and resolution of disruptions within the system landscape
• Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
• Authorization management
• Identity management solutions
• Backup and security solutions
• Coordination and communication with manufacturers and third-party providers for complex error cases
• Documentation of changes, configurations, and operational processes
• Planning and execution of security, system, and software updates
• Support with release changes and patches of the NetIQ environment
• Evaluation and implementation of technical optimizations
• Consulting regarding operational security, availability, and compliance requirements
• Support with system recovery after total failures
• Analysis and resolution of production-critical disruptions
• Creation and optimization of recovery and emergency procedures
• Conducting a three-day in-house training after implementation or onboarding
• Transferring know-how to specialist departments and operations teams
• Training on tasks and processes in authorization management and system operation

• Several years of experience in the operation and administration of NetIQ Identity Governance
• Profound knowledge in the field of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
• Experience in user and authorization management
• Good knowledge of Linux systems, ideally SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)
• Experience in incident, problem, and change management
• Knowledge of handling security-critical system environments
