ICT Security Operations Manager

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced ICT Security Operations Manager for an exciting project in the field of information security and data protection. You will work as a freelancer and support application owners in the development and implementation of security concepts.

Your tasks include advising on the creation of protection needs analyses and information security documentation, reviewing and assessing security concepts, and monitoring compliance with policies and security requirements. You will conduct vulnerability analyses, follow up on measures, and coordinate their implementation with the involved stakeholders. Furthermore, you will create security cockpits, manage security documentation, and review information security clauses in contracts.

For this position, you need a completed Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field, as well as sound professional experience in information security and risk management. Practical knowledge of software development, web and desktop applications, APIs, databases, and network architectures is required. You should be familiar with relevant security standards such as ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and NIST CSF, and possess expertise in authentication, authorization, cloud security, and DevSecOps.

We expect strong communication and consulting skills, a structured and independent way of working, and a focus on quality. Experience with audits, GRC tools, or Business Continuity Management is an advantage.

The project offers a responsible role in a technically demanding environment with access to modern technologies and remote possibilities. The assignment begins in January 2027 in Switzerland.
