ICT System Specialist Microsoft Identity Services | Entra ID | Active Directory | PowerShell

For a client in the cantonal and public sector in Chur, we are looking for an experienced individual to support the operational management and further development of a hybrid Microsoft Identity environment.

In this role, you will take on operational and engineering tasks related to Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory. You will assist with cleaning up technical legacy issues, modernizing central identity services, and connecting business applications to modern authentication and authorization solutions.

• Taking on operational and engineering tasks for Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
• Analyzing, cleaning up, and sustainably reducing existing technical legacy issues in the identity environment
• Participating in the further development and modernization of central identity and authentication services
• Connecting and integrating business applications to Microsoft Entra ID as an Identity Provider
• Identifying security risks and misconfigurations and supporting their remediation
• Participating in the further development and implementation of security standards and best practices
• Standardizing and improving the identity architecture and associated operational processes
• Using PowerShell for operational and administration tasks
• Documenting existing configurations, operational processes, and implemented solutions
• Completed IT education and several years of experience in the Microsoft Identity environment
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
• Experience in user and authorization management
• Experience in connecting and integrating business applications to a Microsoft Identity Provider
• Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization methods such as SSO, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
• Experience in identifying security risks, misconfigurations, and technical legacy issues
• PowerShell skills for implementing operational and administration tasks
• Ability to systematically analyze, document, and continuously improve existing solutions
• Structured, reliable, and service-oriented way of working
• Team player with good communication skills
