ID 1320 - Business Analyst Institutional Clients with focus on KAG / KVG

Project overview

Support in the project as a Business Analyst for Institutional Clients with a focus on Capital Investment Companies and Asset Managers.

To support our project, which aims to expand our platform for institutional business (i.e., capital management companies, insurers, asset managers, or similar as clients of our client institutions), we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst.

Task Description:

Definition of market requirements for custodian banks/custodial institutions with regard to institutional capital investments (UCITS, special AIFs, direct holdings of insurance companies, pension funds, occupational pension schemes, etc.), including:

Based on the market requirements and the functional product gap analysis, a technical gap analysis will be created in a second step in cooperation with the relevant business and IT departments of dwpbank.

• System connectivities
• Market connectivities
• Collateral Management (e.g., securities collateral in the form of pledge or full title transfer)
• Securities financing transactions (securities lending/lending, repurchase agreements/repo, especially triparty models)
• Reporting and regulatory reporting
• Performing a functional product gap analysis on the current service portfolio of dwpbank with regard to securities processing for institutional clients
• Performing a technical gap analysis based on the functional GAP analysis
• Reconciliation of new requirements with existing requirements and ongoing projects
• Creation of an implementation roadmap and identification of overlaps and dependencies with ongoing / planned projects
• Creation of decision papers for TOP management
• Structuring requirements with Jira and Confluence and linking them with existing agile processes

Requirements

• German (written and spoken, minimum level C1)
• English (written and spoken)
• Communicative, creative, and a team player mentality are prerequisites
• Fundamental understanding of market infrastructures in the securities environment and their cooperation model (central securities depositories, custodians, custodian banks)
• Several years of experience in Business Analysis in the financial sector
• Sound technical knowledge of banking systems in the capital markets environment, ideally securities processing
• Very good experience in the service portfolio of custodian banks in the institutional sector
• High expertise in the context of regulatory reporting and system connectivities
• dynamic, fast-growing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make pragmatic decisions, even under time pressure
• Organizational skills and a good sense for priorities and parallel project streams
• Team orientation combined with assertiveness to bring projects successfully to go-live

Project details

Remote/on-site portions are always agreed upon with the end customer.

Willingness to work on-site in the project is a prerequisite.
