Project overview

The assignment focuses on researching the Developer Experience within IT Sociaal and developing a roadmap for improvement.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Investigating the current Developer Experience within IT Sociaal
• Assessing the achieved functionality within the DevOpsBox project
• Determining whether the current service provision meets the needs of development teams
• Conducting interviews with developers, product teams, architects, security specialists, and management
• Setting up and leading workshops and working sessions
• Conducting surveys and performing analyses with relevant target groups
• Mapping the developer journey and identifying shortcomings in tooling, processes, governance, and support
• Mapping bottlenecks related to self-service, onboarding, and collaboration
• Developing a future vision for the Developer Experience
• Creating a prioritized improvement agenda including business value and implementation approach
• Advising management on next steps and investments
• Coordinating between development teams, IT management, architecture, and security
• Reporting on progress, consequences, and risks
• Presenting research results and advising on next steps
• Minimum 5 years of experience with change and implementation projects in complex IT organizations
• Demonstrable experience within Agile, DevOps, and software development environments
• Experience with conducting research, assessments, stakeholder analyses, and improvement projects
• Strong skills in interviewing and facilitating workshops and sessions with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to translate user insights into concrete improvement initiatives
• Experience with stakeholder management at operational, tactical, and strategic levels
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach
• Independent, results-oriented, and advisory attitude
• Experience with Developer Experience, Developer Platforms, or Internal Developer Platforms (preferred)
