Commissioning Engineer Mechatronics

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechatronics Commissioning Engineer for our location in Bavaria. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical and hydraulic assembly and disassembly of Straddle Carriers. You will perform initial operations, commissioning, and functional tests on individual systems and complete plants and conscientiously document all measurement and setting values.

Your tasks include troubleshooting and analysis of machines worldwide, logging the device status during all work steps, and clarifying technical weaknesses with relevant departments. You will support modifications, retrofits, and on-site adjustments and participate in prototype construction. Furthermore, you will operate industrial trucks, hall cranes, and aerial work platforms using modern control systems.

You have completed training as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or possess a comparable qualification in the field of mechanics and hydraulics. Sound knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical plant construction is required. Experience in the worldwide commissioning of industrial plants is desirable. You work safely with measuring instruments, master common documentation systems, and can read technical drawings and circuit diagrams according to applicable standards. Knowledge of relevant safety regulations for operating heavy equipment is necessary.

A license to operate industrial trucks, hall cranes, or aerial work platforms is advantageous. Willingness for international business travel is a prerequisite.
